Description

The White Stripes "Party of Special Things To Do" 45 from Sub Pop Singles Club. 

  • Limited edition of 1300 released in 2000. 
  • Three songs (Captain Beefheart covers), "Party of Special Things To Do," "China Pig," and "Ashtray Heart."  Good songs, too, and I wouldn't be selling this record if I didn't need the money. 
  • This record has been played less than two times.
  • Red (transparent) and white (opaque) vinyl.

Perhaps you have noticed the Buy It Now! fee.  Perhaps you are thinking "Too much!"  But isn't it just as reasonable to think "I would love to own this record, but I hate the hassle and stress of having to fight with other discerning music fans.  Furthermore, I would like to make use of the money I have just sitting around in my bank account currently doing no good to anyone. My other old car is falling apart around me.  I can actually see the highway below my feet as I drive around, because of the (non-decorative) hole right through the floor.  So I needed a new-old car to get me to my extremely unpleasant doctor appointments. 

Now, to pay for it all. That is where you come in.  To be honest, I think you will be doing yourself a favor by Buying It Now! and paying immediately with PayPal.  Why? Because you will have saved yourself from almost a week of sleepless nights, tossing and turning, preoccupied with the thought that someone could take this wonderful record away from you by bidding 50 cents more than you did. Winner must pay for shipping and insurance, which should end up at about 6 dollars total, but could be a bit more (or less).  I will pad and protect the record to within an inch of its life.  Please note that I am not responsible for the package once it's in USPS's hands.  That's what the insurance is for!

I thought it was funny when I listed the Buy It Now! price as $250, but I didn't realize that this record, in similar condition, went for MORE THAN 250 DOLLARS recently on eBay!

In light of this recent discovery, I would like to state that this record is in ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CONDITION.  It has only been out of its sleeve maybe 4 times, and two of those have been for purposes of this eBay auction.  I just examined it and there is not the tiniest of surface scratches. NONE!  You will love this record.  It is a joy to behold!  I've kept it hidden away because I wanted to make mp3s of the songs when I got a nice record player, but I never did either.  My loss is your gain!  Seriously, Buy It Now!  It was funny before, but now it is a BARGAIN!
