Description
Available here is a collectible, PROMO, DOUBLE LP from Whitney Houston - "My Love Is Your Love". This unique white label promo set was released in 1998 on Arista (AL-9037).
This was Whitney's fourth studio release (and first in eight years, though she had participated in three movie soundtracks during that time period). It is notable for introducing elements of hip hop into Houston's work, only sparingly used in her previous material. The influence of this album's multiple producers - including Wyclef Jean, David Foster, Lauryn Hill, and Babyface - is evident throughout.
The album generated several hit singles: "When You Believe", a duet with Mariah Carey, which won an Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 71st Annual Academy Awards ceremony; "Heartbreak Hotel", which features Kelly Price and Faith Evans; and "It's Not Right But It's Okay". In addition, tkhe title track "My Love Is Your Love", was certified platinum and became Houston's third-best-selling single ever.
This set features high gloss vinyl, VG++ with at most a scattering of faint hairlines per side; some have less. Appears very lightly played. The cover is solid, with a little bumping/bending/edge wear, no seam splits. There is a company hype sticker on front. Plain paper liners appear new. All labels are clean and complete.
