Up for sale is an acetate of "Zoot Suit/I''m the Face" by The High Numbers (aka The Who).
The label says "Audiodisc Capitol Magnetics Winchester, VA U.S.A".
Side 1 says: 45 RPM Mono The High Numbers "A" "I'm The Face" 2'30"
Side 2 says: 45 RPM Mono The High Numbers "Zoot Suit" 2'00"
When I initially posted this record, I was unsure of its pressing date. Chris from www.the-who.net was kind enough to contact me and shed some light on this record. Here is what he said:
"The single was some kind of re-release in 1980 in the USA, this time it had I'm The Face on the A-side and Zoot Suit on the B-side. This single was attached to the various artists album Through The Back Door but sold also without the album. In 1980 this version of the single was also released in UK and France. So, your auction item is the acetate of the 1980 USA release."
So it looks like this is a 1980 acetate.

Everyone has a different set of grading criteria... So, to avoid any confusion, here's ours!
We basically follow the Goldmine Grading System
I do not tend to describe/grade the label on my records unless there is some obvious flaw... so if the label condition is important to you please ask me and I will let you know its condition!
Sealed: Only used for sealed records... Sealed records are assumed to be mint but, since they're sealed, I can't tell the condition for sure! It is good practice to guess the condition to be Near Mint.
Near Mint: Not perfect, but darn close! A very minor scuff and very little else can appear on the vinyl. This will most likely have occurred during packaging, or removing the record from the inner sleeve. Has been handled with extreme care. It should play without any noise over the flaw. The flaw should be very hard to see.
VG+: VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that don’t affect the sound are OK.
VG: Light scratches, slight background noise possible. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise won’t overpower the music otherwise.
Good: Record plays without skipping but does have surface noise. Scratches, scuffs and groove wear all possible on this condition.
