Description
Savoy 12127 Red and silver, original label, deep groove. Subtitled"The East Coast Scene". Harden, leader, fluegelhorn; John Coltrane, tenor sax; Tommy Flanagan, piano; Doug Watkins, bass; Louis Hayes, drums. 5 tracks. Very swinging bop/hardbop with outstanding solos. Cover VG 1" split on the bottom edge at the insert edge. There was some water damage on the bottom corner of the record near the insert edge. The jacket has become more "flexible"in the affected area. This area starts approximately at "Louis Hayes" name and goes diagonally across towards"Tommy Flanagan's" name. The stain is more evident on the back cover. There is light aging on the back cover. The cover is gloss finished. There is a narrow sliver along the insert edge which appears to be unfinished. This sliver should appear dark in the scan. Very light aging on the front cover. A very small amount of corner wear. Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. It has a new appearance. There is an occassional light click , very infrequent and does not interfere with the fine overall sond and fine surface quality. Audibly checked.
