Description

This is a rare private Christian music LP released in 1977 on the Lifesong label.  The LP is titled Through a Glass Darkly by Wild Olive Branch Band.

This LP is used.  The LP looks great and plays very quiet.  I noticed some vinyl imperfections but they don't seem to affect the play.  Cover is still in shrink-wrap.

To quote from the Archivist book, "Vintage Vinyl Jesus Music" by Ken Scott:  " Sincere homemade rural feel with some west-coast hippie vibes, including simple acoustic songs with harmonica...  Good hard rock fuzz action on "High Times, Low Times"...

I like progressive, blues-rock, Celtic and some psychedelic music.  Similar to the styles of Arkangel ( with Kemper Crabb ), Jimmy Hotz (classic "Beyond The Crystal Sea" LP), Oden Fong ( classic "Come For The Children" LP ),  Eden ( a 70's Christian progressive rock band from Germany ), Semaja ( a 70's Christian progressive rock band from Germany who released a classic LP "Hear My Cry" ), the Exkursions ( with Mike Johnson ), Jeff Johnson, Iona, The Knights of the Lord's Table, Water Into Wine Band ( legendary Christian band from UK ), Proto-Kaw ( with Kerry Livgren ! ) etc.

If you know of any Christian bands that played progressive rock, blues-rock, psychedelic rock or Celtic folk rock, please drop me an email at tinmancafe@aol.com.   Thanks !
