WILHELM BACKHAUS "IN MEMORIAM" GERMAN MONO(?) FIVE LP BOX SET DECCA RECORDS SLA 25036-D/1-5 VG++
DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION:
Released shortly after Wilhelm Backhaus' death, this set provides a retrospective with performances of works by Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Johannes Brahms and Chopin..Please see pictures for more details on the performances.
Box has no broken corners or other damage. There is very little surface "Rub wear" on the front cover.. Their is a small stain on the back. The records are very clean and glossy, with just a few very light surface scuffs - no scratches that can be felt with a fingernail. .I believe it is mono, but I can't find any indication of stereo or mono. A booklet is included. Text is in German.
