Willard Cantelon - LSD Battle For The Mind LP. Sealed, never opened, near-mint condition. Supreme M-113 Mono. Hard to find, original 1966 U.S. album. Although this copy is sealed and has never been opened, there is a 1-inch tear in the middle at the top that has cut the plastic as well as the cardboard sleeve. (See picture) Justly famous 35-minute-long mostly spoken word album (with theremin (!) and hysterical, maniacal laughter) wherein Cantelon tackles the growing scourge of LSD. But the real virtue of this album is the outrageous cover which features a photograph of a man with bulging eyes and in whose outstretched hand is an LSD sugar cube. Superimposed in the foreground is a distorted, screaming skull, with everything bathed in a murky greenish-red light. One of the best-known 1960's drug-related records; overall pretty hilarious and definitely for psych fans.
