Description

Here's hidden Hanshaw.  Willard Robison plays two hot arrangements, "There Ain't No Sweet Man Worth" [sic] and "I'm Riding to Glory," on Salabert 803.  The label doesn't even say there are vocals, but Annette Hanshaw sings the former and a male singer (Frank Bessinger?) sings the latter.  Recorded in New York in April 1928.
This record is in E condition and plays beautifully.  On the "Glory" side, there are two small areas that look like groove wear, but the first area doesn't sound and the second area merely ticks faintly three times.  The record is pressed slightly off center, but not enough to detract from the music.  Someone has written "anglais" on each label.     I'm a longtime collector who is downsizing.  I know how to pack records.
