Description
Here is a very good Columbia Masterworks LP recording of William Primrose plays Walton & Hindemith. The pieces include Walton's Concerto for Viola and Orchestra with Sir Malcolm Sargent conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Hindemith's Der Schwanendreher (concerto for viola and small orchestra) with John Pritchard conducting the Columbia Chamber Orchestra. Both pieces feature William Primrose on Viola. This is Columbia recording number ML 4905. The outer jacket is in fair condition with a small split on the bottom edge. The inner sleeve is clear plastic. The record is in mint condition. The label is dark blue with silver lettering. The album is from the private collection of a former Columbia Records Art Director, my uncle. Will be shipping ONLY within the United States. Enjoy the bidding! NO RESERVE!
