Description
Original 1967/68 US reissue copy of Willie Nelson- Live Country Music Concert on the RCA Victor orange label, catalogue no. LSP 3659. The concert was recorded at Panther Hall, Fort Worth, Texas.
The record has been ultrasonically cleaned in our amazing Degritter & the vinyl has come up spotlessly clean with good lustre retained. A couple of light scuffs visible on S1, nothing feelable or that troubles playback. Graded VG+.
Playback reveals a smooth, analogue and detailed sound, warm and dynamic, with great instrument separation.. In our experience, these old RCA Victor pressings never disappoint on sound quality! The sound engineers of the day have done a great job of capturing the concert atmosphere with Mr. Nelson's warm vocals central in the soundstage. It plays through beautifully with occasional low background noise/crackle in a few places but no jumping, sticking or skipping.
The rigid cardboard sleeve is in good condition overall with bright print colours maintained. The rear notes section is really clean. Clean& crisp with mild corner rubbing &light flaking/creasing spine. One corner is clipped. There is tape applied to the top seam over a small area of shelfwear but this has been well done & is not too noticeable. No writing, stains or tears
The original RCA Dynagroove printed inner sleeve is present & in excellent condition. We have popped the record into a new poly lined inner sleeve to preserve it after cleaning - you will receive both.
