Description
This rare WILLIE NELSON … and then I wrote LP is an audition record released in 1961. The matrix numbers -10 and -1E on the flip side confirm this LP was pressed right at the very beginning of the album's production life cycle. Combined with the jacket's "Audition Record" stamp, it guarantees that the vinyl was stamped from crisp, fresh metal parts long before the factory plates suffered any structural wear.
It is stamped AUDITION RECORD in red ink on the back cover of the cardboard sleeve and both sides of the records’ center inner label read AUDITION RECORD.
DLL is embossed on the front cover. Original inner sleeve explains by mailing in $2 you can receive another record.
Grading very good for light scratches but none are able to be felt. Cardboard sleeve has good color with some scuffing around edges , no splits.
With both sides of the record being cut directly from the original studio master tapes and being labeled audition record make this a great find for any collector.
