Hello! This auction is for a very rare Wilson Audio Definitive Test Record W-8420 in MINT condition. Here is a brief description from the back of the sleeve- "Wilson Audio uses two completely different reference systems to evaluate recordings and equipment. These two systems represent extremes of cost and elegance likely to be used by audiophiles. The modest system includes a $15 Grado cartridge, and old Advent 300 receiver, and a pair of tiny Pyramid Metranome 7 loudspeakers. The state-of-the-art WAMM system includes Kiseki and van den Hul cartidges, Golmund arm and turntable, preamplification by Spectral and Curl, amplifiers by Krell, and our own custom designed reference loudspeaker system, the Wilson Audio Modular Monitor (WAMM). We feel that if we hear a phenomenon on both systems, it is significant for a wide range of listeners."
