This is the rare debut album by Wings 'Wild Life' on Apple records.
It has all markings of a very early/1st press release.
Earliest matrix numbers: YEX 871 -11* and YEX 872 - 1. (All UK first pressings had a double '1' digit mistakenly stamped on Side 1)
Heavy duty cardboard cover with pointed end spines.
'An Apple Record', 'An EMI Recording', 'Printed and made in England' - printed in the bottom right hand corner of the back cover.
Paul McCartney (side one) and Linda McCartney (side two) label designs.
'Published By Northern Songs - Also Claimed By Kidney Punch Music' - printed on labels (1st press copyright issue)
Apple label: PCS 7142
Original white Apple inner sleeve (Important Notice  Copyright exists in all Apple recordings......)

Album Cover notes:
Front and back covers are still in very good/excellent condition (the front still looks excellent, the back isn't damaged or marked but has ageing discolouration)
No writing on cover or labels (labels are very clean and unmarked)
Minimal fraying on edges of cover
Light fraying to Spine

Vinyl notes:
I have played this album back in it's entirety at a reasonably loud volume on a pair of high end Sennheiser headphones to evaluate its condition.

Matrix numbers:
YEX 871 - 11
YEX 872 - 1

A-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

B-side:
Virtually no surface noise, excellent playback

In general the vinyl is in excellent/near mint condition.  It looks very clean with light marks from sleeve removal. Perfect playback. The album looks as if it was played a couple of times and stored for all the years after.  The vinyl really is in lovely condition for its age and it will be hard to find another copy of this age in this condition.

I tend to be over critical of a records condition as it is not my intention to misrepresent what I am selling.  I want the buyer to feel what they have bought is as described although not everyones opinion of its condition will be the same as mine.

If you have any doubts or questions about this record, please ask me and I will try to be as helpful as I can.
