Description
"The War of the Unknown Warriors" - G.S. 26 No.1 & No.2
An interesting and scarce 78 rpm recording of a Winston Churchill speech, broadcast July 14th, 1940.
This Special Record (Private Record - Not for Sale) approved by the Prime Minister, was distributed by Alexander Duckham (founder of Duckhams Motor Oils). I believe donations were for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.
CONDITION ~ I have not played the record ~ It appears to be in very good condition, the centre labels are good, the record has some light marks but no nasty scratches. The cover sleeve is good with some creasing and minimal wear. I know little about records, so please ask any questions and take a good look at the photographs, these form an important part of the description.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. There is no 'Buy it Now' price for this item.
