Description
Last Exit Traffic. From my own Steve Winwood collection, now begrudgingly downsizing my albums. This is the original 1969 , heavy vinyl (much thicker than normal), pink label, orange and black Island logo. The pink label has the apparently rarer" textured" finish. I always looked after my records, so it is in excellent condition, and plays through fine, still sounding great after 40 years, just a slight hint of static in the quieter passages that dont detract. Produced by Jimmy Miller, side 2 being a fantastic live( Fillmore West) recording of" Feelin Good", and Blind Man, Feelin Good ,covered by many people, was surprisingly, co- written by Anthony Newley. Some tremendous jazz/ blues Hammond organ from Steve on this side. Sadly Jim Capaldi and Chris Wood no longer with us, butthey left a fantastic legacy with their playing. The E.J. Day gatefold cover is in very good condition, no marks or rips or writing, just the normal edge wear for a "satin " finished cover. Some slight ring wear is visible on the rear. Please note :-the labels are the usual pink colour, they look very light on 2 of the pictures, this is a camera problem.
