Description

An original 1st press of THE DEBUT from 1970 on MCA. Matrix 7-224/7-225. Stampers 1-A/2B-A [excellent audio provenance]. Please note the pink and red dog bone labels - this consistent with 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue Moore & Matthes cover with left opening sealed forming  a nice solid opening panel. We also have the original blue and white inner sleeve date to late 1970. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In excellent order with a few very slightest marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetween are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. If great audio is your bag - you could do a lot worse than this copy. The early copies can produce some pretty amazing audio. Even the quiet tracks play clean like the instrumental 'Handy'. Difficult to find fault really - just a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side. One isolated tick in the track 'Handy'... Bangin!
Cover (Ex) Mind blowingly good - they just never surface looking like this. Surfaces are pristine without ageing and there's literally no creasing or surface wear. Just one minor blemish on the front. The rear is close on perfect. The interior is pretty much perfect. Edge wear is very slight for this title. The spine is perhaps one of the best specimens I've ever seen. Close on no wear and it has retained the original box shape [sweet!]. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very very fine specimen.
Inner (Ex-) Lightest ageing. Bag is present. No splits.
