Description

An original copy from the height of Beatlemania. EMI were struggling to meet demand at Xmas 1963 and had to go to Decca for a helping hand. So, this Xmas 1963 copy exhibits that very familiar deep groove on the label which is indicative of a Decca pressing. This pressing would have most likely come from just 2 or 3 months after 1st release. Matrix 7N/7N. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover.
Vinyl (Vg) Would be of interest to someone who fancies a Decca pressing rather than the standard EMI. Has seen alot of use - so don't 'click buy' unless you can handle quite a bit of marking. None of it seems to be that heavy - but the surfaces have been well used. Playback is fine. It plays back ok with crackle in places. It doesn't get invasive - but clearly will not be of interest to anyone who is in any way looking for a clean player. Think before you click!
Cover (Vg) Acceptable - no more no less. A bit of ageing front and back. The spine is pretty much all intact.
