An original 1963 1st press on Parlophone - in STEREO a really hard find. November 1963 -- stereo very much in its infancy....these copies are, now, very hard to locate.... Matrix 2/2. .. with recording 1st pub. Jobete publishing! Heavy slab of vinyl and comes housed in an original stereo cover with exposed flips.... This is the original DARK Shadow version. Emitex inner too..
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In very nice condition having seen relatively light use. Under close inspection there are a few light  markings - nothing heavy/nasty.  A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly Excellent level of playback with one deviation per side.  A nice clean player by and large --  Intros and inbetweens are quiet and the audio comes across with good clarity. Clean feed even into the fussy numbers. A bit of light presence in one brief spot per side. A couple of ticks in the first track on side 2 and then once again a bit later. But by and large very solid and appealing. Particularly for this sought after format.
Cover (Vg+)... Beautifully preserved cover with pristine front.. Clean and flat front without creasing or surface wear. 1cm opening edge tear -- repaired. The rear has largely avoided ageing which is quite unusual. The odd grubbiness showing in the photo -- this can largely be cleared up...expect the cover to improve another 15%.. Minimal edge wear.... Spine 95% intact... Text all readable...Overall the cover retains superb rigidity.
