Unusual tax code
EX!
This was the Beatles' second official release, following their hugely popular Please Please Me. This record was released on the 30th November 1963 and went to the number 1 position (knocking of their own Please Please Me lp) on the 7th of December. Staying at number 1 for 21 weeks! As a little note: they had already sold 250,000 copies before the release and so accepted a silver disc BEFORE release!

Vinyl: EX. Gorgeous sheen to the vinyl. There are only a few very light marks to the vinyl, with nothing to affect playback. FLAT, flat FLAT. Not even a great deal of dust on the record. Beautiful playback.

Rarer "MKT" transitional tax code side 1...This was used just before the deadline of the KT tax code introduced from the start of July 1963. Rather unusual to have this tax code on a later press of this album...
Outer text "The Parlophone Co." No "Sold In" text.
Cover: EX-. Very, VERY nice cover. Larger Mono in top right corner. Only around 6 or so spidering areas to the laminate and most of those are negligable 2cm or less...with just the one being around 6cm.
There does appear to be a small amount of lifitng to a 2cm area, but it has been coloured in and will only be spotted if you are specifically looking for it...I reckon it is where a sticker was removed.
The back is lovely and clean, with only minimal 'dirt'...still retains a good white colour.
"You Really Gotta a Hold On Me" incorrect track listing to the back.
VERY, VERY strong Ernest J. Day & Co. flipbacks.
Very strong, bright and clear spine.
Inner: EX. Not the original Emitex inner, it is a later replacement inner but is also plastic lined-which would explain why the record has been kept in such a fantastic condition all of these years.
