THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'

This wonderful sounding UK STEREO 1st pressing dates from the album's November 1963 initial release and is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PCS 3045

Both labels omit 'Sold in UK...' text but have 'The Parlophone Co...' rim texts.

The side 2 label bears the misspelt 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' title for track 3 & the incorrect 'Jobete Mus. NCB' publishing credit for 'Money'

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 2 centre hole.

Matrix numbers: YEX 110-2 & YEX 111-2

Stamper codes: 2/H & -/GD

Disc weight: 151g

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the darker front image and large 'stereo' front indicator.

The rear panel also misspells track 3 on side 2 as 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me'.

Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

Labels: EXCELLENT +

Both are clean & bright with some light wear to each centre hole but no writing, marks or missing paper.

Visual: NEAR MINT

Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean and apart from one or two barely visible inner-sleeve removal marks are MINT, unmarked and 'as new' in strong daylight AND directly beneath my unforgiving, powerful halogen desk lamp. Both sides of this well-preserved copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: NEAR MINT

This superb sounding copy has received a moderate amount of extremely careful play on top-quality equipment only and as a result the sound quality is perfectly clean, warm & clear throughout. My single careful play-check detected not a trace of any groove/play wear on any track or any clicks, pop or background interference of any kind. Tough to find a better sounding copy.

Cover: VERY GOOD -

An early example with a clean & unyellowed front panel bearing a handful of small spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnails' or any other significant signs of wear. There is minor bruising to the left corners but no tears or feathering to either opening edge. The rear panel has a few faint marks on the track-lising but is free from any writing or missing paper. All flipbacks are fully intact but there is unfortunately a 7cm upper seam split. However, the lower and the spine are unworn and undamaged.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with minor storage wrinkles but no writing, tears or seam splits.
