THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'
1963 UK *MONO* PRESSING LP
This superb, barely played 2nd pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206
Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' rims.
The side 2 label publishing credit for 'Money' is 'Dominion Belinda'
The 'KT' tax/price code is present in the centre of the side 2 label.
Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover with the 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me' misspelling.
Complete with its original 'Use Emitex' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

An immaculate pair with just a touch of wear to the centre holes but no spindle marks to either.
Visual: EXCELLENT
Extremely clean & deep-glossy surfaces which are undulled from overplay or poor storage. Close inspection in strong daylight shows up a small 1cm light fingernail scuff mark on side 2 together with some wispy inner-sleeve removal marks, but nothing I would call a scratch. Careful examination directly beneath my halogen desk lamp only highlights the hairlines but reveals no other significant visual blemishes or wear.
Play: EXCELLENT +
This barely played copy sounds perfectly clean & clear throughout with no traces of any groove/play wear or background noise on or between any track. Even the delicate 'Til There Was You' is free from the usual background crackle which blights so many copies. I also found no clicks, pops on or any other significant or major wear on or between the music.
Cover
VERY GOOD +
A very respectable example of this easily blemished cover retains a fine undamaged, high-gloss front panel laminate with just a single 'thumbnail' wrinkle but no other significant wear. All corners are free from any heavy bumps or bruising and both opening edges are clean & sharp with no tears or feathering to either. The rear panel has some age-toning and some light handling marks but no writing or missing paper. There is some age-discolouration to the exposed edges of the flipbacks and the impression of a number on the upper one but they are otherwise all intact and undamaged. Both seams and the clean, white spine are all smooth, unstressed and undamaged.
Inner-sleeve
VERY GOOD +
Clean & flat with just some a number written in one corner but no seam splits or other major faults.
- Strict & grading under strong daylight & directly beneath a halogen desk lamp to UK 'RECORD COLLECTOR' standards.
- I carefully play every record I sell on a $5,000 Rega P9 turntable at volume and list all visual and audible faults.
