This EXCELLENT 1963 UK 2nd mono pressing is on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1230

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but carry 'Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

The publishing credit following the 'Money' title is: 'Dominion.Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd.'

The track 3 title on side 2 has been revised as: 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'

A faint 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the side 1 centre hole.

Housed in front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed 'Patents Pending' mono cover.

The track listing on the rear also misspells track 3 on side 2 as 'You Really Gotta Hold On Me'

Complete with its original 'Use Emitex..' poly-lined inner-sleeve.

A clean & vibrant pair, each with with some faint spindle trails and slight wear to the side 2 centre hole itself but no major blemishes.

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Both playing surfaces retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with just a handful of harmless light marks & scratches on each side which do not affect sound or play in any way. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few further light surface marks but none of the usual inner-sleeve removal hairlines at all. A nice heavy copy which lies 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Play: EXCELLENT

Most copies of this LP turn up in and well and often over-played state. However, this one has been carefully played and well looked-after. The sound quality on this seldom seen -4N cut is clean and unworn throughout and my careful play check at volume found only a hint of background on 'Til There Was You', but no clicks, pops or any other such audible distraction elsewhere.

Cover

EXCELLENT

A 1st-class example of this easily blemished cover with a striking un-yellowed clean & bold front panel image which retains all of its high-gloss laminate finish. The only sign of wear is a 'thumbnail' wrinkle to the right of Paul's head and a small bend towards the lower left corner. There is slight corner bruising but the opening edges are clean & unworn. The rear panel is clean & white with no marks or blemishes anywhere. All flipbacks are undamaged & both seams and the spine are smooth, unstressed and totally unworn.

Inner-sleeve

EXCELLENT

Clean & flat with just a single small age-related spot on one side, but no writing tears or seam splits.
