UK 1963 *DECCA* PRESSING LP

On the black & yellow Parlophone label: PMC 1206

The labels bear the distinctive 'Decca groove' 1cm in from the perimeter.

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' label text but have 'Parlophone Co..' rims.

The side 2 label carries the corrected 'You Really Got A Hold' On Me' Spelling and the 'Dominion Belinda' publishing cedit for 'Money'.

There is no tax/price code visible on either label.

Housed in a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with the incorrect 'You Really Gotta Hold' On Me' tracklisting.

Complete with original poly-lined inner.

Matrix nos: XEX 447-7N & XEX 448-7N

Visual: VERY GOOD +

Superb bright, clean and high-gloss surfaces which apart from a few light surface marks and occaisional hairline scratch directly under halogen light display no major visible faults.

Play: EXCELLENT

This copy has received frequent, but careful, play on good quality equipment and all tracks are free from any groovewear distortion or background noise. Apart from 2 click on the side 2 run-in and some normal/light background between tracks, I detected no significant or major audible faults throughout.

Cover:

VERY GOOD +

A very respectable exmaple of this iconic cover with just some light storagewear rubbing to the front laminate & 3 tiny 'thumbnails' but no other signs of wear. There is some light shelfwear to the lower corners but no other significant damage to the upper two or either opening edges. The rear panel has some natural age toning and traces of handling but marks, writing or missing paper. All the flipbacks are intact, both seams unsplit and the spine is fully & clearly worded.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT
