THE BEATLES - 'WITH THE BEATLES'

This truly EXCELLENT example of their 1963 LP is a UK 2nd MONO pressing on the yellow & black Parlophone label: PMC 1206

Both labels omit the 'Sold in UK..' text but have 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd..' worded rims.

The side 2 label carries the 'Dominion. Belinda' publishing credit for the song 'Money'.

The 'KT' purchase tax code is visible around the centre of the side 1 label.

The disc is housed within a front laminated, tri-flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed cover with a large front mono indicator.

As with the side 2 label, the rear track-listing correctly spells track 3 on side 2 as 'You Really Got A Hold On Me'.

Complete with its original 'Use Emitex...' rice-paper lined inner-sleeve.

Both are clean & bright with a touch of wear to each centre hole but are otherwise unblemished.

Visual: EXCELLENT +

Extremely clean & unworn playing surface which retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with just a single faint fingernail scuff on side 1, but absolutely no other marks or wear in strong daylight. Close and careful inspection beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a some harmless wispy hairlines but no other significant signs of wear. Both sides of this heavy disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.

Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +

A superb sounding copy which has clearly received just careful play on good equipment. My single careful play-check at volume found no trace of any groove/playwear distortion on any track - even the innermost ones. the entire album is also totally free from any background interference or crackle, even on the exposed 'Til there Was You' which plays perfectly. Both run-ins and all bands play without interference and there is not a single clicks, tick or pop anywhere on this exciting sounding copy.

Cover: EXCELLENT

A clean & strong example with light handling/storage wear, but no major faults throughout. The front panel is clean, glossy & yellowed with a bend to the lower right corner and a few spine wrinkles but no 'thumbnail' creases anywhere. The corners are a little soft but none are split or damaged as are both opening edges. The easily and so often soiled rear panel is clean & unblemished and free from any significant or major wear. All flipbacks are intact and both seams are smooth unstressed and the spine is fully worded and unworn.

Inner-sleeve: EXCELLENT

Clean, crisp & flat with some light age-toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
