Description
This is a very rare first press stereo copy of With The Beatles which was released on 22 November 1963.
The matrix numbers on this copy are YEX 110-2 and YEX 111-2.
The track You Really Got A Hold On Me is mis spelt on both the cover and the side 2 label as You Really Gotta Hold On Me and the track Money has an incorrect Jobete publishing credit on the side 2 label. The publishing credit error was rectified within a month on the second pressings though the Gotta / Got A error carried forward on to a few second pressing sleeves and labels.
The sleeve is in very good condition, as seen from the pictures. There is some minor creasing and ringwear and some minor foxing on the rear and a very small tear at the opening, The spine is fully readable.
The record itself looks and plays excellent - nice and shiny with only a few very light marks. There is some crackle here and there, most noticable between tracks, but no skips, ticks or jumps. It has a plain white inner sleeve.
Being stereo, which was not popular around this time, this is one of the rarer releases to get hold of.
Will be sent signed for in a record mailer with stiffeners
