Description
I bought this copy of 'With the Beatles' in February 1964. From my research it appears to be a 2nd pressing. On the front of the record sleeve is a large 'mono'. On the back of the record sleeve, bottom right hand side corner is 'Printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd'. It has a tracing paper-lined 'use Emitex' die-cut inner sleeve. The record label is black with yellow logo and silver print. 'The Parlophone Co. Ltd.' is at the start of the permimeter print. It has the wording 'Recording first published in 1963'. 'You really got a hold on me' is spelt correctly. The song 'Money' has after it: (Bradford Gordy) Dominion. Belinda.' There is no KT tax code. Matrix numbers: Side one: XEX 447 7N, Side two: XEX 448 7N. Please see the photos for the condition of the cover and the record. There is some foxing, other brown marks and general wear and tear to the cover. It also has my name and a date on the back of the sleeve's cover. The inner sleeve also has some writing on it in the top right hand corner. I do not have a record player, so have not been able to test the record for sound. The surface looks good, with a few marks on it. I was always very careful with both playing and storing my records, so hope that after approximately 50 years it still plays well. If any problem should be found with the sound quality, I will reimburse the buyer on receipt of the returned record. From a pet free and smoke free home.
