Description
This Album comes from my own collection, is in lovely condition, an original pressing. On side one, is incised STAP 1 A-1, scratched out, and replaced by SAPCOR 1 A-1. at "9 0-clock" a 1 is stamped, at "3 0-clock", a 0. Side two is the same but 1 B-2, with GD at "9 0-clock", and 2, at "3 0-clock", both upside down. The sleeve is clean, bright, laminated, some light " waterline" staining by the opening on the front, some light creasing on front, by the spine, and a crease mark on the bottom right corner. the inner black sleeve is is in good condition, with only creasing to left hand top and bottom corners. The back cover is "upside down" when the sleeve is turned, left to right, but the "right way up" if turned, top to bottom, this I assume is normal? the insert is clean, with some visible "handling marks", the corners are crisp and square. Now to the vinyl, side one plays beautifully, side two has a light audible "click" for about half of track two, the quiet bits, are just that, no crackle or apparent surface noise. There are a couple of surface marks on side two, but with the exception of the afore mentioned click, these have no apparent impact on playback. This is, in my humble opinion, a very nice example of an iconic album. I'm only selling because I never play it, this record has not, until this week, been played since 1977! For this reason I am putting a reserve of £15.00p on it, if it doesn't sell, I'll keep it, so you'll only get one chance at this. Happy bidding. Paypal/UK only, please.
