When you make a payment please select the delivery option you require among the 2 or 3 on offer in the invoice page (please wait for a revised -and cheaper- invoice in case of multiple items. However, because now eBay require "buy-it-now" items to be paid immediately, and because the total in many cases cannot be customised in advance, you may have to pay first if you buy "buy-it-now" items, and then wait for my refund...
For international destinations, you will find two delivery options: the cheaper one has no tracking and the more expensive one has tracking.

Please note that for most destinations there is no tracking number unless you choose a recorded delivery. For international tracking choose the delivery option  "International Tracked Postage" or "Express Int'l Postage". The following options "Standard Int'l Postage" and "Royal Mail Airmail" have NO TRACKING.
The option called "Express Int'l Postage" is not any faster than a Standard Postage, but it is recorded, with tracking.

Depending on the postal service where you live, please consider carefully if an unrecorded delivery is appropriate or not. Please consider recorded delivery if an item may remain unattended on your doorstep. .

Postal receipts and/or certificates with the recipient's address on them are always available for recorded and for not-recorded deliveries as proof of posting.

Payment (please make a payment/make contact within 5 days unless there are other items on auction at the time which interest you. In this case please wait for the end of the auction before making a payment and please ignore eBay's automatic reminders)

WHY HAVE DELIVERY COSTS GONE UP SO MUCH IN RECENT TIMES
In the last 2 years UK postal rates have gone up massively. In many cases they doubled (or even more than that).
In April 2013 inland postal rates for smaller packets initially went up 137% compared to 2012 (more than double) -hence the suddenly empty post offices.
In November 2013 Royal Mail have changed their mind about smaller packets and so the increase, compared to 2012,  is still bad but not as dramatic.
Rates for abroad have gone up on average 70% compared to 3 years ago.
From 4th September 2013 there is a new unavoidable charge:
E-Bay (UK) have decided to take a percentage also on the postal costs when an item sells (up until now, e-Bay used to take a percentage only on the final value of an item). So for example for a £5 item which costs £5 to send to Australia, eBay final value fees are now on £10 rather than on £5. The higher the postal charges, the higher the ebay fee.
I don't charge for cardboad and sellotape and the queue at the post office, but I cannot ignore these extra fees.
You may find cheaper postal rates on offer from professional sellers who have access to discounted rates etc or from the many private sellers who are unaware of the changes and post at a loss.
Pay Pal, being a financial provider, also takes a percentage (from sellers) on the postal costs, and again, the higher the postal charges, the higher the Pay Pal fee.

- Cheaper (and slower) surface mail available to AUS,NZ,US and Canada on request.
- Non pay pal payers: I will take 10% off the postage
- If you are not interested in the box/case, in many cases international shipping costs may be reduced substancially (because of the weight)

FURTHER READING about international deliveries:
International shipping with tracking is a lot more expensive and for items of relatively low value it's beneficial for both the sellers and the buyers to make use of much cheaper standard non trackable air mail.
For years I have posted the vast majority of  my international packages by standard non trackable air mail.
Claims (about not receiving a package) have been extremely rare -invariably involving the same three / four countries of destination with well known delivery issues.
Things have changed on e-Bay, however.
I always obtain proof of posting with the recipient's address computer-typed on it by the Post Office (a not well advertised option available at any post office).
But now Pay Pal no longer cover sellers unless a package is sent by fully trackable post.
Private sellers and buyers are encouraged, by e-Bay, to come to an agreement, in adverse cases...
But ultimately if a buyer makes a claim and there is no tracking number, Pay Pal automatically take the payment from the seller's account  and give it back to the buyer. At the touch of a button, no questions asked. Excellent for buyers (I am a buyer too and I like the safety of it), but there are issues.
Since the change, claims (the e-bay international selling community will tell you) have soared.
 Last December I had 3 buyers from overseas opening a claim and getting their money back from my account after just 3 weeks from the shipping date. Even if, at that time of the year, for several countries it's the norm for a packet to take 4 to 6 weeks to be delivered because of the backlog at customs, at arrival.
Most claims don't even get reported anywhere as sellers get penalized if they choose to go through the official claim system, so there is a lot of room for potential abuse.
In case of  a claim I have always been willing to help and do my bit, even  with my typed proof of posting etc.
But it has become unsustainable, so now to many countries I only post by trackable delivery.
I have had many great buyers from some of these countries and I will inevitably lose most of them, and I will sell less (about 60% of my sales go abroad), since an international recorded delivery pushes the total price up too much in many cases, but now it's no longer worth the risk and the stress involved. Luckily for me, this is just a hobby...:

Very occasionally I may post an international  packet from other countries in Western Europe (in such cases always by recorded post, and within the time stated). Items to UK addresses ALWAYS posted fom the UK.
Parfois, je envoier dans autres pays de l'Europe de l'Ouest: dans ce cas, toujours avec "tracking" (recommandé) et avec aucun délai. Objets destinés à une adresse anglais sont toujours livrés à partir de l'Angleterre.
A veces yo puedo usar los servicios postales de otros países de Europa occidental. En este caso, siempre con "tracking" (con envio registrado) y sin retardo. Artículos destinados a la Inglaterra siempre se envían desde Inglaterra.
Às vezes eu posso usar os serviços postais de outros países da Europa Ocidental. Neste caso, sempre com "tracking" (recomendado / registrado), sem demora.
Occasionalmente spedisco da altri paesi dell' Europa occidentale. In questo caso, sempre in modo tracciabile (come raccomandata) e nei tempi stabiliti.
