Description

X -Mother / Halfway Round the World
Their 2nd vinyl single. Rare original pressing released on their own label, X Musique, released in 1984. Pressed by EMI Custom Records, Sydney. Small pressing run

The A side is a cover of John Lennon's tune 'Mother',  but in my personal opinion the track written by the band on the B side - 'Halfway Round The World', should have been the A side. Its a classic punk rock track with a touch of Scientist's swamp and garage rock, so typical of that era alternative OZ rock. Its the side I heard numerous times on local radio station 2JJJ. Never did hear 'Mother' played on radio.  I reckon I have owned this record for over 30 years.

The original blue paper cover has handling wear, some mild ring wear, and small creases and small tears on the opening edge.
The vinyl looks VG++. Some very slight surface scratches.

Note: my camera can't replicate the exact colour of the label or cover. The record label is a bit more bright red, and the cover is more of a darker blue.
