Description

Here is a MEGA RARE R&B 78 RPM shellac style single from my collection offered up for sale: Shorty Long with With Manny Albam And His Orchestra "Burnt Toast And Black Coffee" / "Vacation Rock", release by RCA 20-6572, still has RCA paper sleeve,1956. This is super cool rock n roll music, another song "Rock Me My Baby" also written by Shorty Long and Susan Heather, was covered by Buddy Holly and the Crickets for their album in 1957. According to rockin' country website, Shorty Long's real name was Emidio Vagnoni, born in 1923 in Redding PA, was a regular on the National Barn Dance Chicago and The Hayloft Hoedown in Philadelphia. Other information suggests he played piano on Elvis Presley's 1956 recordings for RCA. This one is in well cared for condition and is a GREAT listen!
Record rates EX, has just a few light marks, has been well cared for! PLAY TESTED, plays excellent from start to finish!  Sleeve is clean and bright, no splits.
Will be shipped inside a large box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped "sandwich method", in extra cardboard with packing.
