OH BONDAGE UP YOURS / I’M A CLICHE
VIRGIN RECORDS 1977
RARE 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX 7” WITH DIFF EDIT
here’s some info on the net about this release~
Following counter-claims over the existence of a different mix, Having listened closely to both versions, there is a marked difference on the final line of the chorus of the Title track and, specifically, on the final word "more". On the A1 version this is sharp & piercing with the word effectively split into two syllables and rising in pitch from the first to second, and very pronounced. On the A2 version, the "rise" is still there but the end of the second syllable is deadened or faded.
Record is VG, plays great, sleeve VG, has tape round edges , not sure why as it looks in good order.
Very rare version of one of the all time classic Punk singles from 1977
