X – WILD GIFT – ORIG 1981 1ST PRESS – SLASH SR-107 CALIFORNIA PUNK ROCK VINYL LP VG

This is a rare first edition copy of the 1981 release titled "Wild Gift" by the California band X, known for its California Punk Rock style. The vinyl record is a 12" LP with a speed of 33 RPM and it comes in the original cardboard cover and inner liner.

This album is in very good condition as well as the LP Jacket and the paper inner liner. (See photos)

This copy was released with the silver & black Slash Records labels which note production was handled by Ray Manzarek.  This piece of music history from the 1980s showcases the iconic LA Punk Roc sound of the era and is perfect for collectors and music enthusiasts alike.

X is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles. The original members are vocalist Exene Cervenka, vocalist-bassist John Doe, guitarist Billy Zoom and drummer D. J. Bonebrake. The band released seven studio albums from 1980 to 1993.
Wild Gift is the second studio album by American rock band X, released on May 6, 1981,[1] by Slash Records. It was very well received critically and was voted the year's second-best album in The Village Voice's Pazz & Jop poll. Wild Gift was later ranked at number 334 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

Wild Gift showcases the band's unique punk rock style, which infuses roots rock, country, blues, R&B, and rockabilly.
