2 MONSTER PSYCH LPs FROM THIS SOUTHWEST NATIVE AMERICAN BAND, PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS Lincoln Street Exit!!! THIS MAY BE THE ONLY TIME THAT BOTH LPs HAVE BEEN OFFERED TOGETHER ON EBAY!!!
"Entrance" is a VERY RARE 1974 compilation LP of 1960s psych tracks by Lincoln Street Exit made prior to their famed Mainstream Records album. Issued under their later name Xit (which they used for 3 Rare Earth label albums in the early 1970s). If you are a serious 60s collector, you know how great this material is.
The vinyl is MINT and looks BRAND NEW!! The TEXTURED cover is EXCELLENT with a small dent in the upper left corner, a small moisture stain and blue symbol written on the back in the upper right corner. This LP also has the printed inner sleeve covered with vintage band pics in EXCELLENT condition!! This is the rare XIT LP that collectors are after, it's got all their garagy pre-Mainstream tracks on it, recorded circa 1966-1968. Also for offer is a promo copy of "Silent Warrior", their 1973 release on Rare Earth. Cover is VG++ with some ringwear, some damage to the spine and initials written on the back. Vinyl is VG++ with numerous light surface scratches. LP has promo LP designated by the "DJ" catalog number and print stating "DJ COPY - NOT FOR SALE". Not as rare as "Entrance" but a necessary addition nonetheless.
The image included with the auction is a scan of the actual item but, due to size limitations of the scanner, the edges of the item may have been cropped.
RECORD GRADING POLICY
MINT = like new or near new with only one or two small insignificant defects, a 9 or better on a 1-10 scale
EXCELLENT = Would be Near Mint, except for a couple of light hairlines or scuffs, which do not affect play
VG++ = still a very nice record with all or nearly all of its original gloss but may have a few more light, surface marks, hairlines, needle tracks or the like which should not materially affect play
VG+ = a nice, but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It probably plays with a few pops, but has no serious problems.
VG = a well-used record that still should sound OK when played, but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc.
VG- = a very well-worn record that plays through without skipping, but will do until a better copy comes along.
Good = not actually good at all but probably will play through but with much in the way of surface noise, pops, crackles, etc. Still, will have no cracks, chips or the like
Fair = you’re getting this record just to own but not to play
Poor = the sky’s the limit, generally I will discard a record this bad (and sell the cover, jacket or sleeve alone) unless the label holds some particular interest
