Description

Side 1. X-MEN "8 song demo" produced by Daniel Rey (Ramones, Misfits, A.O.D., Iggy) 1985

Side 2.  X-MEN live at the Brighton Bar Long Branch, NJ  1985

Info:  The X-MEN were a hardcore punk band from Long Branch, NJ that evolved from the ashes of legendary kbd punk band CHRONIC SICK.  They released an album in 1986 on Adrenalin O.D.'s BUY OUR RECORDS label.  This demo tape is what got them signed.  It is an absolute skull crushing explosion of sonic punk mayhem.  Guitarist HINGE was the greatest guitar player in New Jersey punk.  He shreds all over the place.  This is soooooo far superior to their weak produced LP that this should have been their first release.  It's beyond amazing.  2 of the songs "Sanity Kills" and "Monster X" are among the best blazing punk songs to ever come out of the Garden State.  Great production by Daniel Rey.  Side 2 is a full live set with tons of unreleased songs.  If you love the Jersey shore core stuff that Mutha Records used to put out, this blows them all out of the water.  This tape is from the personal collection of a member of Adrenalin O.D. and is sold for personal use only and is not to be reproduced for sale and distribution.  Serious bidders only.
