Description
Original UK first press Germ Free Adolescents LP, which I've owned since buying it as a young punk fan in 1978.
Matrices:
- INS 3023 A-1 MASTERED AT 'ABBEY ROAD' - NICK
- INS 3023 B 1 NICK U U
- Outer sleeve all intact; no tears, separations or writing. A little buffed wear on the corners and in/out edge.
- Inner lyric sleeve present and clean and flat, but small pen mark near bottom corner.
- Plenty of gloss on front and back when held to daylight.
- Spine fully readable.
- Has just been cleaned in a Spincare record cleaner using distilled water. And static removed with a Zerostat gun.
- Visually, quite a few visible hairlines and light scuffs. One long but light mark crosses several tracks (see captioned photo) but has no effect.
- Play tested on Audio Technica turntable (see video)
- Play test Side 1: track 1 faint tick for a few seconds if you're listening for it and a brief light crackle in the dead vinyl between tracks 3 and 4.
- Play test Side 2: one tick in the dead vinyl between tracks 2 and 3 and a faint tick for a few seconds during track 3.
- Otherwise all plays clearly, loud and punchy, with no jumps, loud pops or locked grooves.
