Description
I was a DJ and music writer for many years and am selling off some exceptional, rarely-offered items in this one sale, this week only.
You are bidding on the 1st pressing of the classic legendary punk album by X-ray Spex called Germ Free Adolescents, featuring the vocalist Poly Styrene.
It was purchased in the United States as an import and has the JEM records import sticker on the cover that is probably removable. The album is in very good to excellent shape -- both the cover and the condition of the vinyl. In fact I would put the vinyl at near mint.
British EMI 1978 FIRST PRESS
In 1994, The Guinness Encyclopedia of Popular Music named Germfree Adolescents the eighth best punk album of all time. Seven years later, in May 2001, Spin magazine ranked the album number 5 in its "50 Most Essential Punk Records". In March 2003, Mojo magazine ranked the LP number 19 in its 'Top 50 Punk Albums'.The album is listed as one of the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.
