XTC - BLACK SEA PROMO/DJ TEST PRESSING - VIRGIN/RSO VR-1-1000 - SCARCE!
This is a US test pressing for the DJ release of one of XTC’s best albums and would be issued with the “VR-1-1000 DJ” labels; test has plain, stamped labels
VIRGIN/RSO VR-1-1000, 12”, 11-track album; released in 1980
A-side label (misstamped): VR 1000 B
A-side matrix / runout: VR-1-1000-RE1-AS-CMP1-1
B-side label (misstamped): VR 1000 A
B-side matrix / runout: VR-1-1000-RE1-BS-CMP1-1
Vinyl is conservatively graded as Excellent; clean, with just a few very light scuffs/scratches
Cover is a plain/generic die-cut; “XTC” is hand-written on one side and some math whiz needed to solve an equation on the other; all corners have been bumped/creased to varying degrees
NOTE: Unless otherwise requested, I will be making an exception to my usual packing approach with this item. It will be shipped inside the generic cover, in a matte poly inner sleeve.
