XTC - NONSUCH - VIRGIN V 2699 - DOUBLE VINYL UK IMPORT! SCARCE!
Hard to come by UK vinyl copy of one of XTC’s finest albums… their last before their 6-year “strike” against Virgin Records, who eventually let them out of their contract

Side 1 matrix: V 2699 A-1U-1-1
Side 2 matrix: V 2699 B-1U-1-1

Side 4 matrix: V 2699 D-1U-1-2
This album was played just a couple times, as the CD was purchased at the same time. Overall, vinyl is EXcellent, but the beginning of side 4 has a very small scratch that is audible (“tic,” not a “pop”) from the run-in to a couple seconds into the first track
Cover is EXcellent; all corners are sharp, but have very tiny rubs; top edge on back cover shows 1 small crease and bottom edge shows 2 small creases
Both inner sleeves are EXcellent, with all corners sharp; both sleeves show some parallel creasing along the open edge (scalloped side, only); disc 1 sleeve (picture side) has a tiny rub on the bottom left corner
Track list:
Side 1:
The Ballad Of Peter Pumpkinhead
My Bird Performs
Dear Madam Barnum
Humble Daisy
The Smartest Monkeys
Side 2:
The Disappointed
Holly Up On Poppy
Crocodile
Rook
Side 3:
Omnibus
That Wave
Then She Appeared
War Dance
Side 4:
Wrapped In Grey
The Ugly Underneath
Bungalow
Books Are Burning
Unless it is a factory-sealed item, your vinyl will be shipped outside of its original cover (to avoid seam-splits), in a dedicated record mailer, with cardboard filler panels, as well as bubble-wrap, to help insure safe delivery. Besides having filler strips along all edges, the perforations on the shipping carton will be formed into “bumpers,” providing superior protection
