________________________________________________________________________XTC – Skylarking Label: Geffen Records – GHS 24117, Virgin – GHS 24117 Format: Vinyl, LP, Album, Reissue Country: US Released: 1986 Barcode (Scanned): 075992411714 Original US issue - more a revamped and corrected version than a reissue. This includes "Dear God" (as track B5) in place of "Mermaid Smiles" (originally track B4), which had appeared in its place on the first UK and US release in an attempt by Virgin to avoid controversy. "Dear God" was then released as a standalone single and became a college radio hit in the US, creating a more lucrative sales product (when added back into the original track listing) than the 'edited' version.
Produced by Todd Rundgren - in our opinion, his greatest production effort (outside of his own recordings),
on par with his work on The Tubes' Remote Control As New condition Factory Sealed This is a vintage sealed vinyl LP and sold as a collectible - returns for refund WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED if the LP is opened, and buyer accepts this stipulation as part of the purchase contract.
