XWN 2229 2LP BOX SET WESTMINSTER DARK BLUE HI-FI HERMANN SCHERCHEN CONDUCTS MAHLER RESURRECTION SYMPHONY NO. 2 IN C MINOR
Two LPs in a nice box with a 4 page insert. There is also a 2 page from the Basic Repertoire dated May 1970 that has Martin Bookspan’s critical review of Mahler’s Symphony no. 2, in C Minor (Resurrection) in which he also compares various recordings of the same symphony. The two LPs are on the WESTMINSTER dark blue label, HI-FI natural balance (US). The stampers in the dead wax are 1F, 1A, 1C & 1E. Hermann Scherchen conducts The Vienna Symphony Orchestra. Vienna Academy Chorus. The LPs look Mint to Near Mint. The box is in very good condition with the corners reinforced with invisible tape. A name and a date are written by hand on the inside of the box. Payment by Paypal. Lucky winner pays shipping and handling costs.
