For sale is the VERY RARE custom/private press LP "God's Melody" by the Sonrise Singers on Reel Sound Studio Records, catalog #LPS 070476. No date is listed on this one, but we're guessing mid-70's. All original songs from this group based in Tempe, AZ from Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. Excellent contemplative, sometimes moody, acoustic folk with strong lead vocals from Dave Weigle and delicate backing female vocals by Debby Anderson. Instrumentation consists primarily of acoustic guitar with some occasional bass, which allows the strong songwriting to shine, Overall, it's a very enjoyable listen and would most likely get a thumbs up if it were included in Ken Scott's "Archivist" (surprised it's not already included!).
