Description
Hello! Today I am offering a rare copy of Wendy - Lettin' the Light Shine. Please read description, see photos, and ask any questions, before you bid. Read my feedback and bid with confidence!
Condition:
Album: Very good - not excellent, not mint (NOTE: very slight sleeve scratch on side one "This Little Light of Mine." Side two also has a light sleeve scratch on "Liar" - know this before you bid. Plays through just fine. Minus the noted issues, album is free of marks.
Cover: Good - Sticker tear on the top right corner. Significant seam split on the bottom and top opening - fixed by previous owner, with clear tape. Spine wear - again see pictures, and know this, before you bid. Back cover was "autographed" by (apparently) a gift giver ("To Patty, from Lisa" - not the seller).
I am starting the bidding low, to account for the condition issues.
Young female singer/songwriter who toys around with pop, jazz, country, rock, ballads, funk and disco on her well-produced private press. Full arrangements and numerous musicians, including piano, electric guitar, synthesizer, strings and horns. A mellow affair for the most part, but she does manage a few sassy brass grooves on tracks like ‘This Little Light Of Mine’ and ‘Liar’ (I can already envision record dealers tossing out words like “breaks!” and “loops!”). I especially liked the Seawind-ish jazz-rock edges on the ?nal two tracks, ‘Ode To My Friend’ and ‘It’s Comin’. Custom label from Santa Ana, California (no relation to the other Airborn)
