Description
X-ray Specs - Germfree Adolescents - INS 3023 - 1978 - Original Vinyl Release
The glossy picture sleeve has evidence of corner, edge and ring wear. Part of the sleeve has come unstuck for about 10cm as shown in the 19th photograph. This is where the glue has dried out. I haven't tried to repair this. The spine looks good and there are no seam splits. Please check the photographs for the condition which I have tried to show.
The inner card sleeve has crushing on one corner but otherwise looks in good condition with no seam splits.
The vinyl looks in decent condition. Still nice and bright. One scuff mark evident on Side 2, Track 1. I have no idea how this affects the sound quality as I don't have a record player and haven't played this album for well over forty years.
The labels are clean with just a little evidence of spindle wear.
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side A): INS 3023 A-1 MASTERED AT' ABBEY ROAD'-NICK
- Matrix / Runout (Runout side B): INS 3023 B-1 NICK UU
Matrix/Runouts: 'Mastered at 'Abbey Road' - Nick' and 'Nick UU' are etched, everything else stamped.
If this sells for a significant amount I will consider sending it 'Special Delivery' for the extra compensation (at my expense) to cover any mishaps.
I am only selling as I need to downsize. Also selling The Clash - London Calling first pressing.
I am also listing a job lot of vinyl. Some used punk/new wave (Buzzcocks, Stranglers, Undertones) plus un-played and still sealed vinyl (reissues such as The Cult and Big Country and releases by Dinosaur Jr. and Bob Mould). The job lot will be collection only.
