         LABEL: EMI # EMC-2687

        GENRE : Punk Rock

      YEAR : 1979

INFO : An unplayed copy of this late 70s punk classic from this London outfit fronted by Poly Styrene. Rated one of the better punk albums a tad behind the Sex Pistols ‘Never Mind’ and ahead of other peers in The Clash etc. From Track 1 you are stonewalled with high energy well produced sound along with Poly’s engaging voice and clever topical lyrics. Considered a staple in any half-decent punk collection it spawned 3 UK hit singles in "The Day the World Turned Dayglo, "Identity" & "Germ Free Adolescents" and was tagged within the industry as "sounds for sophisticated head-bangers".  TRACK LIST :

SLEEVE : Presents extremely well. On inspection under a bright light it shows a tinge of ring-wear front and back which is not uncommon with 40 year old jackets. Other-wise no marks of any note. No writing, no splits and the spine is intact. The corners and straight and no creasing. Avery strong example that will please. Rated EX+ easily.
