Description
This is an original pressing mono copy of the second US LP by the Yardbirds, released in 1965. The band's discography is a mess. This LP originally appeared only in the US and Germany. It came out the following year in Canada and the band's native UK, though in the latter case (per Discogs) only as a stereo "export issue." Side 1 of the record compiles three of the band's 1965 45s, a couple of b-sides, and the track "You're a Better Man Than I," which turned up again the following year as the b-side to "Shapes of Things." Side 2 draws tracks from the band's 1964 debut UK LP, Five Live Yardbirds, which featured original guitarist Eric Clapton. Moving along...The jacket has one major problem spot: there's some tearing, staining, and splitting (c. 2”) along the bottom seam (see photo). It's in fine condition otherwise with light staining along the edge on the back cover and light ring wear on the front cover. Overall VG-. The disc, by contrast, is clean, and plays with minimal surface noise (M-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their sleeves. The sleeves have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded discs except where otherwise noted.
