** This record has been in my collection for over 30 years, and is guaranteed to be an ORIGINAL 1960's pressing, and NOT a recent re-issue, re-release or a copy of any sort. Original pressings are VERY hard to find now. Not in the greatest condition - see description below **
A Good condition disc. Quite a lot of light scratches on both sides, which can be clearly seen (see photos). Some minor spindle marks. Very clean labels on both sides. Original STEREO mixes of both sides. No skips, sticking, jumps, or warps. Good sound quality in general, but with some surface noise / crackling audible at times - mainly on the quieter passages, and mainly on side 1. Good punchy vinyl sound quality, and this remains a very listenable LP. Tested on a Thorens turntable.
Sleeve in Very Good condition. Non-laminated. Still has bright vivid colours. Some general wear, throughout, and some wear to edges and corners. No seam splits. No writing anywhere. Some age-related discolouration / staining to rear. No creasing. Minor wear to spine, but text still mainly legible.
Supplied in plain white inner sleeve which has age-related discoloration in places.
GRADING:
All records are graded using the 'Record Collector' format:
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
