YARDBIRDS LITTLE GAMES US EPIC MONO IN SHRINK VG++!
This is a very nice absolute first mono US pressing of the final LP by the Yardbirds, "Little Games" , which did not even come out in the Yardbird's home base of England! It is also the only Yardbirds LP to entirely feature the guitar work of Jimmy Page, shortly prior to forming Led Zeppelin. The mono pressing is a far superior mix, and also far less common than the stereo, much less in the condition this LP is in. The vinyl grades VG++, with full gloss and hardly any evidence of use, just a few light marks which cannot be felt and which do not cause any problems, not far from a Near Mint grade. The Near Mint labels have a moderate amount of light spindle marks . The VG++ jacket is still in the original shrink, and is miraculously absent of any cut-out marks, drill holes, etc., unusual since virtually all mono pressings of this LP went straight into the cut-out bin! The jacket falls short of a Near Mint grade solely due to some age spots/soiling that appear in a spots where the shrink is torn , and a corner bend in the lower right corner, but it has no seam splits, writing, etc. Please be sure to check out my auctions this week for other awesome British Invasion and Psych LPs.
Grading is very conservative, with strict Goldmine grading standards applied. All records are shipped in sturdy record mailers with adequate packing materials, with the record removed in its inner sleeve and placed on top of the jacket to prevent seam splitting.
