THE YARDBIRDS: "LIVE YARDBIRDS! FEATURING JIMMY PAGE" LP - On EPIC Records, E 30615. This is the original 1971 stereo pressing with 1B-1B on both sides of trail-off dead wax. Back cover liner notes written by Lenny Kaye. One of the hardest to find commercially released YARDBIRDS albums. Jimmy Page had it withdrawn shortly after release due to a legal dispute. He had just formed LED ZEPPELIN and didn’t want to compete against himself with this album. It features "I’M CONFUSED" which later became "DAZED AND CONFUSED" on Zeppelin’s first album. All songs recorded live on March 30, 1968 in New York. The vinyl is in VG+ condition (nice gloss) and plays well. The jacket is in VG+ shape displays nicely. Bottom seam taped very discreetly. No writing, no cut-out marks, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: The Train Kept A Rollin'; You're A Better Man Than I; I'm Confused; My Baby; Over Under Sideways Down; Drinking Muddy Water; Shapes of Things; White Summer; I'm A Man.
