--- I bought this new when it came out at the Petri Supply store that Abu (Abo?) owned and ran (sold a lot of small press obscure music and literature). Note that this originally had a big stick inside the sleeve the open end of the jacket (now there just some old leaves that you can see in a photo below, I tossed the stick long ago because it was dirty and also I couldn't have this on a shelf as it really bulged out. I was told that they gathered debris from the areas that the recordings were made. I think these are supposed to be field recordings that are mixed together. When I bought it I didn't have a turntable, then a few years later I had a stereo and I put it on but I don't think I listened to more than a minute (wasn't in the mood at that time and I never got around to it). Examining the vinyl I can find some very fine scratches here and there, but these are too fine to be needle marks in my mind (I know I only looked at the vinyl once), these faint scratches may have been made during handling when they were packaging the vinyl or perhaps even by taking in and out of the sleeve? The jacket and the inner sleeve or both hand silk screen printed and then it appears to be hand assembled. So during this procress when they were making the jackets I don't know how the vinyl was handled, again, I bought this new and didn't even play it for a few minutes so it is esentially in the same condition that I received it as new (but again, I want to be honest about what I have seen when I examined the vinyl). Inside the gatefold jacket there some contact sheet photos, notice in the photos the the contact sheet on the right has some brown stains with a little edge yellowing apparent, both of those contact sheet photos show some surface wear, I got this decades ago and really only looked at it a few times so I don't really know where the stains came from of the surface wear (I did move many times lugging around a then growning lp collection so who knows). Also the center part of the gatefold that has the band name an some info has some surface rubbing and wear. Non smoking enviornment. The outer sleeve face bulges out because I left the stick in there are quite awhile until at some point I tossed is so it would store easier. I don't see tears or splits anywhere. When I pack it I will take into account the leaves inside the outer sleeve (so wont really compress the lp, I've shipped a lot of vinyl so I know how to do it properly including moving the disc into a seperate inner sleeve, I don't think I have an outer sleever big enough for this lp but will be sure it is protected from water
