Original RARE 1968 UK single by the Yellow Pages, "Here Comes Jane" b/w "Ding Dong Bell" on the Page One label. The Yellow Pages are really the MIRAGE recording under a pseudonym, and this is a KILLER two-sider in the same crunching mod freakbeat style as '66 Who or the Creation. "Here Comes Jane" is a stomping pop-art masterpiece with some GREAT dirty guitar work, while the flipside is a more ethereal, mellower affair, like the Who on "Glow Girl" - with a super catchy melody and zooming Entwistle bass. A rare and sought-after single, and one that definitely does NOT disappoint. Incredibly, both sides have yet to be comped. Go figure. Original 1968 pressing on the UK Page One label.
